A powerful love story about coming home and finding love is sweeter the second time around.

New Cover Design.  I think it fits the tone of the book better.   This version has been edited, one more time so hopefully there are fewer annoying mistakes, and some of the content has been revised.  Still, it is basically the same book.  If you have already downloaded it, just set your Kindle to view the latest version.

KISS ME SENSELESS is FREE this weekend.
May 23 and 24

It has a new cover and hopefully fewer (fingers crossed) annoying editing errors.  I have to admit that my editor told me that she wanted to slap Ben silly for most of the book.  Does he redeem himself?  Only Alden can answer that question.  Download their story and find our if love is better the second time around.

Don't forget to add Kiss Me Stupid to your reading list.  Kiss Me Cross-eyed, Book 3, is available for pre-order.  It will be live on Amazon May 31, 2015.  It is epic!!!

I've been playing with a new cover for this book.  One that is a better match for the cover of Kiss Me Cross-eyed.  What do you think?  Is it worth the effort to make the change, or would it better to stick with the original cover?

 Ben and Alden's story

Check back from time to time.  I will be adding bits and pieces of their story that didn't make it into the book.

This is back cover of the book:
“No, not again.” she whispered, nearly in tears. “I will not do this again.”
Then she turned on her heels and ran as if the devil himself were chasing her.
Alden Adair is back in town. She has come home to Miller, Texas with a plan—Get over Benjamin Black and get on with her life. To her way of thinking, eight years is long enough to spend nursing a broken heart. Her plan has a major flaw or two. Miller is a small town and everyone is watching to see what will happen between Alden and her former fiancé. There is even a blog that posts every embarrassing moment and a betting pool that has the entire town placing bets on when the wedding will take place. Add to this the fact that her traitorous heart isn’t quite ready to let go of Ben, and life gets complicated very quickly. What’s a lady to do? Alden, in a moment of desperation offers him a no strings, for the summer only, affair.

Benjamin Black thinks that he has closed the door on his feelings for the lady he once hoped to marry, until she accepts a teaching job at the Miller Elementary school and moves back home, that is. From the moment she shows up in Miller, he knows that he has only been kidding himself. Seeing her all grown up and determined to build a life in Miller sends him head over heels yet again. He pursues her, determined to woo her, all the while trying not to make the same mistakes he made the first time around. When she proposes that they have an affair, he panics. He doesn’t want an affair of any kind, much less the no strings, for the summer only affair she is offering. He wants a proposal all right, but one that includes white lace and promises. What’s a man to do? Ben, like the gentleman that he is, digs in his heels and insists that they take sex off the table while they get to know each other all over again. His plan has one major flaw, he doesn’t know how he will find the strength to hold out against her when all he wants to do is kiss her senseless.

Who will win as they butt heads and try to find their way past the hurt and pain of their failed relationship to the happily ever after they both want to find?

Their journey requires love, forgiveness, patience, and prayer. While there is plenty of spice in their romance, be forewarned, Ben never gets around to buying condoms, so there is no sex, gratuitous or otherwise.
